Blowing raspberries

My 18 month old DD has started to blow raspberries when she doesn't want to do something I ask her or when I say "no". She is doing it on purpose and thinks it's funny. I am really surprised that she is being "naughty" this young - has anyone else experienced this sort of behaviour and how should I deal with it (at first I was amused by it but it's now driving me mad!)

if i say no or naughty with any seriousness my dd also 18 mths takes a pinch at my face, then giggles, I cannot work out whether she is doing it out of anger or fun....

She's doing it to get a laugh out of you!

Ignore her, it will pass!

Totally man. My ds2 started raspberries shortly after 1st bday I think....greatly encouraged by older brother. Still thinks its hilarious. I used to say something in mock annoyed voice "Who made that rude noise?" Made him laugh more. Ignore it if you can or make a joke of it. Wouldn't worry though if that doesn't sound too dismissive. Mind you, the version with the food in the mouth is annoying.......

I must admit that I find it hilarious. Though dd's never done it in a 'rebellious' way yet. She does it because she likes the noise and thinks it's very funny. She's 19 months. her dad encourages her and they do a sort of raspberry blowing symphony together. Sometimes when we're on the bus and she's bored and does it for 20 minutes at a time and tries to get me to do it with her it can be a bit embarrassing ...

Yup we have this too ... and what's more my dd's nursery seem to want to clamp down on it, so now my dd (21 months) blows huge raspberries and then says "top pitting" = "stop spitting"! She also screams and then says "top creaming"!!

I have to say I think it is hilarious, which probably doesn't help.
