Nightmare baths

My 5month old loves his baths but is getting rather enthusiastic. We have always held him with one hand and washed him in the other in a baby bath but this is getting rather tricky as he needs to be held with two hands to prevent him pulling himself over into the water. We're not keen on spending a huge amount of money on a baby bath support as he will be sitting unaided in a couple of months.

Any recommendations, suggestions, tips, etc gratefuly received.

i run a very shallow bath and let DS lie flat down in it so he can splash to his heart's content - make sure the water doesn't cover his ears. He can't roll yet so this seems to be a good compromise ... obviously we sit by the bath in case he suddenly decides he does want to. You can also put a towel in the bath as they definietly can't slip if they are lying on that.
