Hi can anyone help im at my wits end, I have 5 children, my 3rd is behind with his speech, because of this when he was a toddler he would scream a lot especially when he was cudnt get across what he was tryin to say, anyway my 4th child started copying the screaming and now my 9 month old baby also copys, (the child with the speech delay has now stopped the screaming and is talkin now) its not just a scream when there cryin or upset, its a horrible high pitched scream that hurts my ears, its embarrassing when other people are over and hear this screaming, they think something terrible has happened to the chikd and I say 'no, that's just wot they do" ive tried tellin him 'no, sshhhh talk nicely' which does sort of stop him in his tracks till the nxt time, I dont no weather to ignore it, put him on the naughty step when ever he does it!!! Any advice would b very much appreciated.
