Crying / screaming whenever awake

My 6 week old is a very contented sleeper, loves feeding from the breast, but is very cranky when awake and not feeding. I go through all the checks, but am running out of ideas (and patience to be honest). However, whenever someone else picks her up and talks to her, she is like an angel child! What can I do to 'uncrank' her?

hi,

just wanted to let you know you arent alone. both my dc were the same, only happy if being carried about and would cry unless being held/walked around.

they both outgrew it by 13 weeks or so when they became more aware. ds is 16 weeks now and still has his moments where only carrying him around works but mostly is happy to play on his own. i know it seems miles off yet but just carry him if you can for some peace, i found carrying him outwards was the best as they can see more, oh and go to lots of coffee shops where holding him isnt so bad with a nice coffee and book.
