biting

my 2 year old bites himself whenever he is stressed or doesnt get his own way, is this normal and just for attention? does anyone elses toddler do this?

Not very usual, no.
Some children struggle with sensory processing - they get sensory feedback from something like a bite in the same way that when you have an itch, it feels nice to scratch it? Have a look and see if it is just when doesn't get own way.
Some children like 'mouthing' - they get sensory feedback from putting things in their mouths, and like, chew or bite things that aren't food, on a regular basis - again, in the same way that all babies do when teething, but some children need to do this always. Does he do that?
