DD 2 months - was going to bed with no fuss and now crys??

Yes it's new mum jam again!!! with another question DD goes to bed between 7.00 and 7.30 and was going down like a dream with no fussing at all - this last week she has started to cry at bedtime we are doing nothing at all differently and I may need to go in and reassure her (with little fuss) a good few times over say an hour (I can't and won't do controlled crying).....is this normal? any other mums had the same thing, just a phase maybe? As always, any advice from experienced mums greatly appreciated

My 14month old has done the same thing on and off but we leave her to cry it out, only take a few minutes. Have found that if we go in it makes the problem worse

Mine did this and it turned out she wasn't tired enough at bedtime. You could try cutting back on her daytime sleep a bit and see if it makes any difference.

Thanks Plibble - thing is she has cut down on her daytime sleep and acts really tired at bedtime? weird
