Shaking her head

My DD is nearly nine months old and just today she has started shaking her head in a bizarre way. Should I be worried? Is this just a phase? Has anyone elses baby done this?

Our little girl started doing this at about that age, it didn't last too long so I wouldn't be hugely worried.

One (possibly silly) thought - is your DD's hair getting in her eyes? I've noticed that whenever mine's fringe starts to get a bit long she starts with the head-shaking to get it out of her vision...

Hope this helps!

My ds did this about the same age - I thought he was having a fit

Looked odd, but no problem. He didn't stop it, but it looked less odd as time went on (IYSWIM)

Thanks Lovecat. That makes me feel much better.
