my baby is 14 wks old - she has suddenly changed in the last two days from being a calm, contended litle one to a monster child -
sleeping less during the day
really grumpy
crying a lot
gets angry when feeding - punches my breast and shouts

The only thing that hasn;t changed is that shes still sleeping through the night

Is this a faze? I have tried playing, out for walks, and even TV! - need some advice as to what this is - its driving me nuts not knowing....

many thanks

Possibly the 1st signs of the dredded teething have you noticed any whiteness of gums or redness of cheeks??? that been said my dd2 is now 8mths, has been teething since 12 weeks and no sign of anything yet!

her cheeks go red on and off. I thought it was teething a couple of weeks ago, but the redness has since gone away. however I will keep my eyes open and will check gums just incase.

thank you

Same thing here - DD is 13 weeks and is doing exactly the same as yours except she is waking up a bit more frequently at night too. I saw HV today as am worrying my milk supply might be low (due to the shouting and thrashing around when feeding!). She also said about teething - DD's cheeks aren't red but she's dribbling a lot, running her tongue over her gums and is chomping on her hands. I've got some teething gel and she said to try that before feeding.

I've also got this milk supply issue going on so she told me to feed her more often to try to boost my supply.

Are you breast feeding or bottle feeding?

that's ok!
