Obsession with cupboard doors

Hi there

My little boy is two next week and has a thing about opening/closing doors/cupboards and drawers. He never touches anything inside but I am wondering if there are any other parents of children still doing this at two, suggestions to stop or distract and whether he should really have grown out of it.

just leave them to it unless they are going to injure themselves

Dd of 20 months at it with gusto. She trapped a finger in the kitchen drawer today so maybe that'll stop her (evil mummy!).

um, my dd, just aged 7, still has to have doors shut.
