5 year old spitting (yuk)

what can i do get him to stop! he seems to have picked it up a couple of weeks ago. i can hear him spitting to clean his blackboard and he spit at his brother earlier. is there something i can do to stop it now! he knows it's wrong and naughty but still does it

I would sit them both down and have a little talk about how nasty spitting is, how it spreads diseases etc etc, and set up a little chart for each of them with 5 or 10 gold stars on it. every time you hear or see one of them spit, they lose a star.
They can build up stars if neccessary by chores/good manners etc.
At the end of the week, whoever still has 10 full stars gets a toy/daytrip/pizza etc etc. a few weeks of that and el spitto should spit no more.
