Sensory craving

We met with an educational psychologist recently, and she mentioned that dd possibly has a sensory processing disorder.

It makes a lot of sense. Aged 4, she still does oral exploration, gorges on food secretely, is very tactile (often to an inappropriate extent), and very active. She also barely responds to pain.

We talked briefly about a sensory diet.

Anyone have any experience of managing a sensory processing disorder?
