Tantrum in restaurant

Had to literally walk out of restaurant today. 2yo started screaming. You know when they scream at the top of their lungs. Came from nowhere. I had to battle to get him in his pram. Then his 1 year old brother.. Then move a table so I could get the double buggy out. It was awful. I threw some money on the table the left.

Anyone have a similar story.

Yes DS bought zizzi to silence (bar his screams) as they don't serve chips and he saw someone getting pizza (before we had even ordered) I was with an elderly relative who couldn't be moved so I couldn't even leave, I ate my meal when it eventually came literally shaking and not sure if my beetroot colouring was due to anger or embarrassment.

I'd tried to take him to the stairwell/lift area to give other people some peace but had to wrestle him and tbh it probably just meant people on other floors heard the saga also. Was made even worse when a waitress came and tried to give him a balloon... He hit her!!!!

Iv since learned the places we can and can't frequent when he's hungry... It's an ever shortening list I'm afraid. Still, getting a dab hand at picnics

I was on the Thames Clipper boat last week and was sat next to a father whose 3/4 year old was mid tantrum. The boat was packed. I felt so awful for him as nothing was calming his son down and everyone was staring. I tried to reassure the dad by saying I wouldn't have been as patient and that I know it is hard as my son does the same. I felt for him. My ds had a massive tantrum on a packed tube. He kept swiping my glasses off my face and whacked me a few times. The lady next to me stared and I told her at the top of my voice to mind her business. DS was tired and overwhelmed and he should never have been on the tube at that time. My fault.

I've been there. Costa coffee with 2 year old DD. I bought her a biscuit but wouldn't let her eat packets of sugar so she ended up sitting screaming at the top of her voice under the table and I couldn't do anything as I was by myself and DS was 2 weeks old and in the middle of a breast feed. Hell.

My DS once had a massive tantrum in a shop. I managed to wrestle him outside where he lay on the floor , full on screaming, I somehow managed to trip over him and fell on the floor beside him. I think I actually cried.

Miaza you sound an absolute delight. If your child is screaming in a cramped, closed environment do you expect people not to look? Stop being so precious.
