Hello,
My DS is suddenly quite fretful at night and distraught if he wakes up. I've made the mistake of BF him to settle him and I've now put him on formula but BF him through the night.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Hello, babies change as they grow, yours is probably reaching the attachment stage (when they need reassurance that you are there). I used to keep mine in a cot next to the bed and have them in the bed when they were unsettled. It works because you both get sleep.

If you fight it, it may get worse, they grow out of it of course. Is he having solids? I would give him a meal just before he goes to bed. I wouldn't have started formula either. He may not be good with it.
