Football
Pretending - the furthest he will go is to make you some dinner and make you 'eat' it.

My DS doesn't play make believe either Cod - I am sure it is a 'boy' thing .... DD pretends all the time ....

DS was playing with a little girl who was playing 'shops'. She said, "Hello sir, lovely day out there isn't it?"
He said, after looking out of the window, "No, it is raining!"
She then tried to play 'kitchens' with him ... she picked up a rubber pretend chicken and said, "Now, how will we cook this? Shall we roast it?"
He looked at her as if she was mad and said, "It isn't REAL! We can't cook it, it'll melt!"

My friend (little girl's mum) and I were wetting ourselves

hamstermunker · 13/11/2006 09:45

He will occasionally ask me for a biro and a piece of paper and sit at the table drawing, saying "Not on the table, Mummy!"

hamstermunker · 13/11/2006 09:46

We do have crayons and felt pens, but he prefers a biro!

TheHighwayCod · 13/11/2006 09:46

My DS1 doesn't play make believe, never has but my DS2 is rarely on the same planet as the rest of us, he plays make believe so well that you can't get him back to reality.

moosh · 13/11/2006 10:37

Anything else other than fighting games. Like Power Rangers Vs Ugly Enemy, Robin Hood Vs Sheriff of Nottingham, Dr Who Vs Darleks. They always play fighting games.

Troutpout · 13/11/2006 12:14

fighting games (although they do fight like cat and dog)
ds never ever dresses up
dd never ever bloody plays by herself!!

TheHighwayCod · 13/11/2006 12:17

with toys. (Well the littlest one does I suppose, for about 2 minutes at a stretch...)

They do lots of the make believe and craft stuff though.
