cutting toenails !!!

New on here so dont know hw to refer as not sure what abbreviations for DD etc mean ? My little one has just turned 4 and still won't let me cut toenails - please help ahhhhhh !

Ah I now know i'm referring to my DS, usually I ask a creche worker to do it, he lets her with alot of upset mind, but the main thing is that he lets her.

He will be leaving creche in July, plus she is recently recovering from an op so I did the 2 big toenails myself last time, but it was just so distressing that I am actually fearful of hurting him as he pulls away so fast.

Any ideas are welcome, thanks

Omg feel your pain! Have tried everything with two year old!! However, this seems to work....

Start running bath when a quarter full, if you have a partner or adapt if not get your little one to stand at the edge of the bath and play a game throwing their bath toys in the water and shout and make noise saying big splash make bigger ones and make it into a game... Whilst they are distracted start cutting toe nails on the floor...it's still difficult as they move their feed around but have so much fun splashing the toys I could actually do it!!!
