I just want to say how wonderful my little girl is.

she is 20months old, and usually surrounded by her 2 older sisters. The older 2 have gone away this weekend. And dd3 is shining and beuatifully behaved. She went xmas shopping with us this afternoon, then for lunch. she ate really well, didnt mess about or anything. And is so chatty and lovely.

I miss my other 2 girls, but its so nice having dd3 on her own and not fighting for attention. she is here with me on her own most afternoons but she is usually asleep then lol.

Much as I love watching my children play together, spending some time alone with one of them is rather wonderful. I spend a lot of time with dd while ds is at school, so any time I have alone with ds is extra special. I love it.

aah. that must be nice having just the one for a change. You must see really diffrent sides to their personality.

Can I ask you a question? I saw your posts about the moby wrap and am thinking of getting one. Was it easy to bf in? (I may need to do this, not for reasons of modesty but just cos I will have a hyperactive 3 year old to look after at the same time so thought it may help). Also did you use it in the winter? What clothes did you daughter wear? (ie do they get very hot being close to you?). Did they have a coat or snow suit on? or just thick sleepsuits/babygros? I had a summer baby last time so no idea about layers!

its pretty easy to breast feed in, dd3 is a sweaty baby, so i also dress her in lighter layers than a think snowsuit. on a cold day, in the sling she would have a vest, tights, trousers, t shirt, slightly padded coat, shoes, and hat if she'd keep it on.

thanks for that. This sounds like a weirdly personal question, was it easy to unhook your bra whilst it was on because it was stretchy. They look so lovely and comfy and I like the one size fits all thing as my partner and I are quiet differnt in size. I hated the baby bjorn I was leant last time so am looking forward to having a good slong experience!

Sorry for the hijack!

very easy to unhook bra. it really is a wonderful sling, it does take practise, but worth it.
