when did your baby start handing you objects?

My daughter will be 10 months in a week and she still doesn't hand me things, is this normal? When did your baby start handing you things?

Gosh it's hard to remember but I'm almost sure it collided with walking....so 12 months for me.

My baby is 9 months and has been doing this for a couple of weeks. I wouldn't worry though- your baby probably does things that mine doesn't. They all develop at their own pace but they develop all the same.

I sure hope so, she is doing all the physical stuff like crawling and pulling up she's been crawling since 6 1/2 months and pulling up since 7 1/2 months. I'm just hoping she's on track with her social and cognitive development as well.

Does she smile and babble and those sorts of things? My little one is only just crawling forwards (she's been in reverse for weeks!) so you're ahead there.

Yes she babbles, laughs, smiles and she loves to pull hair and beat up her older brother.

DS is nearly 13 months, and just the past few days has started handing me things, with great delight! We pass stuff back and forth, it's very cute. Chewed up corn cob was the very first thing. I was thrilled, as it's his favourite! He wanted it back though...

My son started handing me things at 14 months old so don’t worry

Don't worry gif I think my little boy was 15 months or something...... and yes he's absolutely fine !! Now 2 and talking and happy etc xxx
