Which shoes for super active boy?

I am fed up buying shoes for my 6.5 years old.
Clarks did have some nice ones that were reinforced at the toe-box and he managed about 3-4 months in them. I bought a pair a month ago and it is gone already.
What shoe do you recommend? And any sandals with a strong toe-box?
Many thanks

My son is roughly the same age... He goes through trainers pretty quickly. I have found that football trainers work best for longevity - after all they are designed for kicking and scuffing.

I know they don't look great, but I am absolutely sure his mates will be wearing them too...

We used to swear by Clarks, but over the last 2-3 years have found them to be overpriced for the quality, for my son and my daughter.

I bought a pair of "superfit boy" shoes from amazon and also (boy trekking) sandals from merrell... Lets hope they do the job

Trekking/approach shoes. I get ds (also 6.5) Meindl shoes ftom a local outdoor shop and he grows out of them rather than wears them out. He has Superfit for school when I am feeling flush, Clark's outlet school shoes-which-are-essentially-trainers but all black when I not.
