Hiya I wondered if anyone could advise , My daughter has Hypermobility and was always v clumsy as a child , Didnt walk till she was 18 months crawl till she was 16 months . She was diagnosed as Hypermobile at 4 years old she is now 8 . I went back as felt there were still worries , They said there was nothing they could do and I explained she struggles tying shoe laces and using a knife and fork . She was referred to an occupational therapist . She was given a Dyspraxia test . From what I have been told she could have Dyspraxia or a Learning difficulty . She need to check her academic level at school ( which arent great she gets extra help ) . I dont understand how this could be a learning difficulty over Dyspraxia does anyone know ? I have a younger son who has GDD with severe speech and language difficulties . Just finding this all very hard to deal with . I dont feel in my heart she has LD , She does struggle at school but is making progress , Her reading is better than her spelling she isnt great at maths but again she is coming along . Just all feels like its hanging over my head . Thanks Claire x
