Things your child has said/done that have freaked you out. Psychic?

The other day, my friend was coming over with her daughter. My 3 year old, my older son and I were in the garden waiting for them to arrive at any moment when my 3 year son said "(child's name) will be here soon and she has a flower for you". Five minutes later, the door bell rang and in walks my friend and her daughter who ran straight up to me and handed me a flower. My older son and I stared at each other in disbelief. My friend was looking at us wondering what we were so shocked about. We told her what my youngest had just said about her daughter having a flower for me and she said "No way!". I asked my youngest how he knew she had a flower for me and he said 'by magic.' Freaked us out a bit!

So I am interested if anyone has had any a similar experiences with their children having told you something they couldn't have possibly known, which then happens.

Not the same calibre, Op, but I was back visiting home from Mexico with my two and a half year old dd. Songs of praise came on the radio and she immediately identified it as church music, even though she had only ever been in Mexican catholic churches where the music is totally different and the congregation do not sing.

My dd once cuddled me and said, "oh, now I know there's a baby in your tummy." A week later I found out I had an unplanned pregnancy (ectopic, sadly). I'm not overweight so she wasn't talking about flab ??

My daughter once saw a truck, we were at a bus stop near our home , it had web address on it, something about Colchester. She looked at the truck and said " that's near where grandad lives" it is near where her grandad lives, she was only 2 at the time and had only visited there once when she was a baby.

She also had a thought stealing habit at that age, I was really worried about my sister at one point, literally seconds after I thought it, she said dsister should come live with us, right out of the blue, spooky little sod she was .

Velouria Re the thought stealing, he also does this. I'd be thinking 'now where did I leave my hairbrush for example and he'd run off and come back saying 'here it is mum'.

My ds thought steals. Wtf is that about?

My 2yo has apparently been singing Beatles songs word-perfectly at nursery. We have never played any Beatles songs to her, and nor has anyone we know.

At the weekend my daughter guessed my Mastermind board game colours on her first go. They weren't my favorite colours and there was no way that she saw them. Freaky.

I often ask her questions that she couldn't possibly know without reading my mind and she knows the answers.

When I was pregnant I had vivid dreams about my unborn child, we had conversations and I saw her a few times. This was before I knew she was going to be a girl and long before I knew what she'd look like or be like. She is now the person I dreamed of in every way. Very weird.

My DS1 had an imaginary friend when he was 3 called John.

The first time he talked about him my MIL totally freaked. My DH had a baby brother that died at birth named John, we've never told the kids about him, BUT when ds1 was 9 months old my dear dear grandfather died and ds1 came to the funeral as he was breastfed still and the funeral was in Ireland.

My granda never met him alive but he was at home till the funeral and we had a wee chat the day before the burial. My granddad was also called John, so I like to think it's grandad that's looking after him. Anyway he's well looked after by John whoever he is!
