First time mum + worrier = paranoid alert!

My son is 17 weeks old tomorrow and smiles lots, he's even given the odd giggle which was gorgeous! But a lot of the time when I talk and act silly he makes all the faces of a giggle but nothing comes out (as you can see by the picture) I just wondered if this is normal and will he start gigging more soon?

Thanks in advance!

Oh! You poor mummies who worry so much . . .

As long as he is feeding, sleeping, making eye contact, following people with his eyes, reacting to sounds, etc I should think he is FINE!

Does he make any other sounds? Does he react if you tickle him?

Probably in a few months you may start to wish he didn't giggle so much!

Just ENJOY him.

Chill and enjoy.

Hope he won't start gigging for about 15 years ... Grin
