Teeth grinding

Does anyone know how to stop a 20month old grinding their teeth?

Are they doing it in their sleep?

When my dd did it we called her name and moved her to try and break the cycle.

Sign of stress quite often.

No when their awake. It's my friends lil girl. She was doing it a moment ago and was in a world of her own staring at something and started doing it. She has then been doing it as she walks around.
