Reflux baby + tummy time

HOW?? Just HOW?!!?

At 4 months we have barely done any. His head control when sat up etc is surprisingly good, I have no worries there, but I want to try and practise rolling and make sure he's getting that back/neck strength.

Any tips?

We were the same and I remember being very worried about it at the time. Does he get treatment? Once our ds was on omeprazole and neocate he could do some tummy time but not alot at all. He was still very strong and it was not an issue but I remeber being very worried about it.

Thanks lndnmummy.

We've mostly got it under control (in day-to-day activity) with just using anti-reflux milk (ranitidine didn't do anything). I've been using my BFing cushion under his chest/armpits and shoving a muslin under his chin, best I can think to do.

He's just about starting to not hate it, but I can't keep up with the laundry at the best of times!

I feel for you, it is so hard. We found omeprazole was the only meds that helped. Just had a thought. Some bouncers with toy bars help their core muscles. As they reach out to bat the toys. We had a baby bjorn one.

I remeber so well the worry about tummy time and compared with all my friends. Try not to worry. Life with a reflux baby is different and you and your baby will come out the other end. I promise xx
