dunno, but if you find out can you let me know? mine (3.5) can't manage the whole "blow with your mouth closed" thing. You can almost permanently see horrible things lurking up there that he won't let me dig out! Eugh. I'm sure this wasn't a problem with my dd....

they never cease to amaze me these kids, so so different. mine still hates me leaving him at nursery (how bad a mummy do i feel??) but can blow his nose. he's 3.2 - but i didn't teach him- he was watching his dad one day and we made a joke about the fact that dh sounds like an elephant (actually no joke) and ds copied him, and hey presto........

This may sound a bit gross and weird, but a lady at my daugthers pre-school suggested that you get your child to blow a candle out using their nose instead of their, my daughters three in June and it has worked for her and a couple of ther people who have tired it have been sucessful
