My DS is 20 months and every time we go to the doctors he screams the place down! He is ok till the doctor makes physical contact with him then he goes into meltdown mode. we have tried buying a doctor's set and practicing checking temperatures sounding his chest etc and he loves to play with it but when it's the real thing he freaks out! The doctor is good at showing him what is about to happen on a doll or teddy but nothing helps. Anything I can do to help or will he just grow out of it?

How often do you go? You make it sound like you're there every week!

Unless he has a health issue which means he's there every week I wouldn't worry. He'll grow out of it.

No he's just been a few times in the last couple of weeks and it's been a nightmare but as you say I'm sure he will grow out of it
