Screams during nappy change

My LO (17 months) screams like she is being tortured when we change her nappy. God knows what the neighbours must think?!?!

Of all the things she has done that have confused us and appear to have no reason for them, this one is by far the strangest!

Anyone else experience this with their LOs?

8month old DS screams the house down and escapes constantly, I end up chasing a bare bottomed half covered in shit baby round the living room, I now just make it last as short a time as possible get everything ready and Go Go Go...

It will pass! My "baby" is almost three and has stopped screaming for a long time now. Give your child a toy in hand maybe? Sing? Make funny faces? Pull-ups? Good luck xx

my ds 15months needs distraction, toy cars, sudocrem lid, remote control even just a wet wipe when nothing else to hand!

I ALWAYS give her something. There is plenty to hand for her. Plus I also have this fabulous mirror thing on a stand that sings tunes that she loves. But still she will scream blue murder!

Maybe tell her that it's time for nappy change. Sometimes my lo needs to know what's happening next as transitions from one thing to the next trouble her.

I do it while my ds is standing up holding on to the sofa with something like a book to look at he has never liked lying down!

Oh my 1 year old terror is like this. So I flick to adverts on tv, giving me two minutes to change her.
