me again ... ds is 4 (just), and is fascinated by the whole 'telling the time' thing.

Should I buy him his own watch et, or is that expecting too much of him?

we bought DS1 a watch for his 4th birthday because he was fascinated by the whole thing.

He wore it all day and then has hardly put it on!

He is gradually learning to tell the time now but using the clock on the wall so I guess once he can do that, he will want to wear his watch.

I would say 5 might be a good time!

my DS had one at 5 and my DD had one at 7. We got them when they showed an interest. My DS didnt wear his everyday day but certainly has enjoyed it.
