Teething & sharting

My LG is 8.5 months. She cut her first two bottom teeth around 5 months, with hardly any symptoms. Then about 3 weeks ago she seemed to be getting teething symptoms (flushed cheeks, excessive dribbling, bad nappy rash, and chewing on everything) i was putting teething gel on her top gum and it looks red and swollen, then a tooth appeared at the bottom, so she has 3 bottom teeth no top, that came through around 2 weeks ago. Since then her symptoms seem to be still teething, her top gum is starting to go white. But along with that she is sharting ALOT (sh*tting/farting) especially when she is trying to go to sleep. Has anyone else experienced this with teething or could this be something else that is more concerning? TIA

Has she had any change in her milk?

No, no change in milk or food. Her top tooth cut this morning and her second tooth is right there ready to cut. And yesterday and today it seems to have gone abit more paste like and not so often so I think it probably was her teeth

I don't know but my 5 month old is doing the same! Currently still EBF and cannot have a feed without sharting. We are going through so many nappies!

My DD 9 months is cutting several teeth at once at the moment and we have had lots of "wet farts" as DS delights in calling them! I think all the excess dribble she's gulping down causes extra wind and a bit of an upset tummy sometimes
