My dds are getting ruder by the day....I am slowly seeing them turning inot Am i bovverreed type girls
The last straw was today. I was on the phone to DD2s friends dad, and DD1 got the gist that DD2s friend was coming over from what I was saying.
And to my horror she was saying loudly in the background, I dont want her coming round, shes not coming to my house...etc
She 8 nearly 9. She should know that that it totally not on....but she seemed shocked at me telling her off, saying how unbeliveably rude it was.
How do I stop them from , I suppose speaking thier mind?

dd2s friend's dad was probably not fazed - all our children do embarrassing things like that sometimes - it probably didn't occur to her that the person on the phone could hear.

If mine are being rude I tend to use 'Now what on earth would Miss (Teacher) say if she heard you saying that!'

Usually stops them in their tracks!
