I call it the six week change! things change after 6 weeks and the little bubbas wake up from their dreamy state. Could be a growth spurt? I would just go with the flow for now.

Thanks nards - I was just wondering if the time left between last feed before bed and dream feed made a difference to DD taking it???

I was in the middle of saying the same Nards, but was disturbed.
You'll also soon notice that babies actually dont have a real routine. Every few weeks or so, just when you think you've got it sussed, they'll change the way they are just a little bit and you'll find you've got to start all over again .
See if it settles. If the night feeds become more and more frequent, though than she might be comfort sucking. If you think that's the case then just see if a cuddle or rocking might send her back to sleep before offering her the breast.
Success .

Ah I just saw your new post. I think the time inbetween could make a difference, especially if she is going through her growth spurt, because the same amount of milk might not cary her through for as long as before. Frequent enough feeds should get your supply back to the right amount after a few days though.
Why do you ask? Has anything changed in your bedtime routine?

Hi - no routine not changed - but am wondering now she is older and can go longer between feeds than she was before, if I am giving her last feed and dream feed too close together, last feed is between 7.30 and 8 and dream feed between 10 and 11

Change her nappy when she gets too sleepy to feed.
