8m old ability to sit up unaided? Should I be concerned?

Our son turns 8m on Saturday and can sit, to some degree, on his own, providing we are next to him and ready to grab him but he cant sit unaided yet. He doesn't seem to like sitting up either.

Should I be concerned?

I wouldn't worry. That doesn't sound strange to me. ds1 was late to sit. Probably about 8 months. It has made no difference to his development. I know its cliched but true when they say all babies are different.

My ds now 4 years was never really a sitter. Does your ds try and move or crawl at all? He jst didn't like sitting and only really did it when he could get from sitting to crawling position and back himself. He also never rolled

He does try and crawl yep and can stand if we stand him up and hold our hands near him just incase

He must have known I was worrying as he sat up, unaided last night Grin
