When in reception last year, I heard (from her friend's mum) that she and this friend had had a serious telling off for being unkind to another girl.
School dealt with it and this frind's mu only found out because her DD was upset about the whole incident and dpilled the beans to her mum.
My DD? Although allegedly very sorry about the whole incident, said diddly-squat to me.
Anyway, moving on, last week in half term, she told me she wanted to tell me something, but 'not yet'. Something had happened at school 'maybe 2 things' but she would tell me 'when we got home'. I have gently pushed and prodded her throughout the week but she refuses to budge. I have told her I will not tell her off, I even told her that once she told me I would never again mention it.
But nothing.
She is an opinionated, argumentative child, but rarely naughty as such and is never physically violent to her sister (although they bicker obv).
So my question is; should I be concerned that my
DD at the tender age of not quite 6 is keeping things from me?
Court of mn, advise me.... pls?
