for the last week she keeps saying she needs to wee and rushing to the loo, only to pass a tiny amount and have to do it all again 5 mins later. it doesn't hurt to pee. the gp did a urine sample and its clear, so no infection. any ideas? thanks

Is she wiping the right way? Could be vaginitis? Try daily baths without any bubbles, check she is wiping front to back, loose pyjamas at night.

Or threadworms can sometimes cause this problem in girls

It could be that her urine is too strong, perhaps not drinking enough? We had this with dd recently but after being on her case about drinking lots of water it cleared up Smile
