I thought 6 weeks , but, i dunno!

SenoraPostrophe · 31/10/2006 17:41

they say 6 months, but dd's changed at 1 yr. Think it depends on the colour though.

SenoraPostrophe · 31/10/2006 17:42

or do they say 6 weeks?

DizzyBint · 31/10/2006 17:44

my hv said can be upto 6 years. dd's are still changing, she's 5 months.

QuootieSpookypie · 31/10/2006 17:45

twinklemegan · 31/10/2006 17:57

DS had clear sky blue eyes by 4 months. DD was still undecided until she was about a year when we all realised she had dark brown eyes rather than the green eyes she had at 6 months ....
V. weird IMO!

cruisemum1 · 09/11/2006 14:01

I thought it was about 6 - 9 mthsbut settling at 1 yr. ds 9 wks and eyes are of no definite colour yet,

coppertop · 10/11/2006 23:35

Dd's are still changing at nearly 8 months.

NotAnOtter · 10/11/2006 23:51

yeah under a year but over 8 months - my ds 8 months still changing

mamama · 10/11/2006 23:58

We were told by about 12 months.

Ds is 13 months and his were changing right up until his birthday. Seems to have settled down now although if they're like mine they'll change from day to day anyway.

tweetyfish · 11/11/2006 00:16

My DD's changed sometime betweetn 18 months and 2 years! She had the oddest eyes for ages, not really blue, but not brown either, now they are definatly browner, but still with a blue hue!

Chandra · 11/11/2006 03:20

DS eyes have been the same colour, no changes here.

malodorantemelly · 11/11/2006 07:24

ds1s eyes were still changing about the age of 3, used to be strong blue, but now I cannot decide on slate blue/grey to green.

ds2s eyes still changing he is 22 months.

both dds seem to have stayed blue as they were when they were babies.

whitestar · 11/11/2006 19:45

dd bright blue at birth still blue

ds1 blue at birth change to green between 3 and 4yrs

ds2 sludgey bluey at birth definate brown now at 14 weeks

PrettyCandles · 11/11/2006 19:55

Ds1 blue-black at birth, turned chocolate brown within the week, 6y later still chocolate brown.
Dd purpley-blue at birth, didn't change for several months, then turned greyish and gradually settled on an indefinable grey/brown with hints of green at about iy, and haven't changed since.
Ds2 blue-black at birth, by about 3w had turned even darker brown than ds1.

I was born with dark brown eyes.

allybaba · 12/11/2006 08:29

My dd was born with dark brown eyes and still has dark brown eyes at 7 1/2 months!

louise35 · 12/11/2006 20:18

DD was born with blue eyes and they stayed blue until she was 9 months old, then they turned green.

TheHighwayCod · 12/11/2006 20:18

later thank youthink iirc

Panyanpickle77 · 12/11/2006 21:11

DD had really vivid blue eyes until she was 3 3/4years old, and they changed to a lovely pale green over the space of a few weeks.......very odd, but not uncommon apparently (DH was 9months old efore is eyes turned from blue to dark brown, and my nan was 11years old when her eyes changed from blue to green!).
