I am absolutley mortified. My son has said some very inappropriate sexual things in nursery and I don't know where the hell it has come from. What do I do? He did it first yesterday and I explained we don't say or do things like that. And now again today. His father and I are not together and I do not have a partner, I do not watch anything but childrens channels when he is up so nothing from tv, he has no older siblings he would pick it up from. I'm so embarassed!

Given what you've said, he is probably repeating something another child at nursery has said. He will have no clue what it means. Or is it possible your ex has exposed him to inappropriate material?

Is it definitely sexual or is he just mispronouncing something (See the cock porn thread) trying to say something.

If it's deliberate, have you tried asking him where he heard said words and maybe even why?

Like SolomanDaisy mentioned he may have heard it from another child at nursery or overheard a conversation from strangers when you've been shopping or from someone who thought he was out of hearing range.
