Leaking nappy

For the past few months my 16 month old daughter has been regularly (not every day) waking up wet. Her night nappy has leaked and gone through to her clothes and sometimes the sleep bag and occasionally the mattress. Poor thing :(

Just wondering why all of a sudden this should b happening when it never did before???

She has 2 milk feeds a day (first and last thing of the day - around 7oz at each feed) and water in her sippy cup throughout the day.

I could understand on the occasions she may sleep in later in the mornings (which sadly doesn't happen often) but what about the mornings she's up at her usual time?

Any ideas?

where abouts does it leak? my ds got a regular wet patch at the front above his nappy in mornings, resolved it by making sure it was higher at the front and also sticking tabs on slanting upwards a bit to encourage it to stay higher at the front. could also try bigger size nappy for nighttime. what brand are you using? imo huggies are rubbish and the only brand that do what they say are pampers.

Try a different brand. We found pampers leaked and huggies didn't (will vary for everyone). Pull ups at night leaked til we found Carrefour ones at Ocado.

You can get washable booster pads that can be used with cloth nappies but they can also go into disposables. Have you tried putting a wrap over the nappy too?
