Ahhh Terrible Two's - help!!

My little girl, the second child, is nearly three but is now very much in her TERRIBLE TWO's stage.

She is being incredibly naughty. Touching everything she shouldnt. Being cheeky. Answering back. With just a grin response when you tell her off.

Nothing seems to work when telling her off. Naughty corner or a threat to smack her bum, she just laughs at you.

With my son, the eldest the naughty corner and counting to 3 worked well. It is not seeming to be the case with my daughter.

Any ideas would be fantastic.

She has been extremely naughty this week.

Sounds exhausting. Have a look at this book, might just help Smile

The behaviours you describe don't sound 'incredibly' or 'extremely' naughty to me. Just normal curiosity, testing boundaries etc.

Maybe I toned it down, she has always pushed the boundaries and has always been curious and independent - IE she will dress herself and if you try to help her, she takes it all off and starts again. :) So I learnt the hard way, to let her get on with it.

What I mean is more recently she is just being naughty: Biting her brother, scratching, throwing things on purpose, doing things that she knows she shouldnt (walking up the stairs with her Disney dresses on) etc

It is like she knows there are things that I will tell her off about, so she is doing them!

In comparison to my eldest, it is quite naughty.
