My dd is 10.5 months old and for the last week been banging her head on things on purpose. Not really had a and only ever a few times then she carries on doing what she was doing. It's not at certain times of day just random.

It's concerning me a bit. Has anyone else's DCS done this?

So is it at random times, not when she's tired or frustrated?

It depends i have seen young children bang their heads really hard and not feel it and they then bang their head on other people esp their mothers and that i believe is normal

My Ds used to bang his head in a temper, only lasted a month or so and he outgrew it. I'm not sure what age he was, older than ten months thoug, prprobably over one. A few other little ones I knew did it around the same age

My DS used to do that, I think he liked the noise! It was just a phase and passed quite quickly.
