Potty trained dd about 4 months ago and it was pretty easy. The last couple of days she suddenly has started weeing in her pants after being dry for ages.

I was sort of expecting a regression when I have a new baby next month but not sure what this is. Could it be a medical condition? Or does she realise the baby will be born soon and it is in preparation. She is also being quite clingy with me and agressive with other children.

I expect it's the new baby. My DD suddenly started having lots of accidents just before starting pre-school. I was surprised as I'd expected it after starting (if at all). I think they pick up on things more than we realise. With my DD, it went on for a couple of weeks and then she was fine.

Thanks tumble - I hope it is only temporary as I could have over a month to go and she is breaking me after just 2 days. (She is also fine again when dh is around it is only when it is just me that she plays up.)

I have been quite organised and been washing his clothes etc. so I guess she is picking up on it being imminent and people often ask her about it. She has also since December been toilet trained, moved from a bed to a cot and changed nursery so been through quite alot but actually not been impacted by it all. Maybe this is catch up for all the changes?

Might also be worth checking to see if she has a UTI. DD did the same thing and it turned out she couldn't help it due to the UTI which was checked with wee sample at GP's.
