Blinking tic!

DD, aged 8 years old, had a rabbit nose tic about 9 months ago. I spoke to her about it (bad mother, I know) and we worked through it and she was proud when it stopped. A few months ago she started excessive blinking. Her teacher hasn't really noticed it but we see it a lot. I know the current thinking is to ignore it, but I once taught a 9 year old who went from the blinking to whole body flinging movements. Should I book a doctor or optician appointment to check it isn't physical before ignoring it? Should I speak to her about it to see of we can work through it as we did the rabbit nose? DH used to have a tic, and I used to have a nervous cough and then a funny lip to nose thing, but consciously worked to stop both, one aged 7 & the other aged 9, and a reward was given for stopping, I really would welcome advice. Thank you x
