gripe water was the only thing that stopped my dd crying and trips in the car

is it a certain time in the day that the crying happens

you have my sympathy, if you give bit more detail maybe mumsnet can give some answers, does she seem to cry after a feed (wind?) or maybe she gets over tired? Although i can remember it all blurring together into a series of feeding, sleeping, changing, winding.

yeah he crys much more in the evening, more screaming than crying though, just as he settles down 2 mins later he's back at it again!shhhhhh....as im typing he has fallen asleep.....lets see how long it lasts!!!

was it a difficult/traumatic birth?
have you tried swaddling him?
how are you feeding him? are you giving him anything for trapped wind, infacol etc? try massaging his stomach in a CLOCKWISE direction? or the 'tiger in a tree' hold where he
does he scream if his held or just when he is lies along your fore arm facing down so pressure is on his tummy?put down? have you carried him in a sling?
