Dummy, you will have to hold it in for your baby.

Put your washer on, switch the light off and go and stand right next to it.

cuddle cuddle cuddle.

What have you done? So we aren't telling you useless stuff that you have tried

Just answered your other thread, Angelfaces - will post on this one too though.

If your baby won't stop crying, no harm in ringing NHS Direct to go through their checklist.

As Colditz says, what have you tried?

Same here. ds 7 weeks WON'T sleep AT ALL !! At end of tether esp as he's keepimg my 8.5yr old dd awake. Getting vvvvv frustrated and tired (both of us). Dunno what is wrong with him. My sympathies are with you.

How old is your baby?

TooTickyTheAppleBobber · 27/10/2006 22:24

Are you bf? Do you have a sling? Have you tried going out for a walk? A change of scene can be a good distraction. Sometimes dads or other people are useful as they don't smell of milk.

when my DS was littler massage really calmed him down when he had an unexplained and inconsolable cry - partuicarly likes foot massage! he gets a massage after his bath so it was familar - not sure how it would go down if you try it for first time while baby is crying. Hope it was a one off and things are good again.
