Clingy DC2 (1yo) jealous of DC1 (3yo)

When DS was born we did alot of work to alleviate DD's (completely natural) jealousy and it seemed to pay off. For the most part she is a very generous and loving big sister. What I didn't expect is now he is a bit older (1yo at the end of the month) he is crazy jealous of her! Every time I am cuddling her he starts crying, comes over and tries to pull her off me... He has just started nursery and so is quite clingy and insecure so I know this is completely natural... But would appreciate any support/ advice to make it a bit easier for everyone!

I can't advise but can sympathise, in exactly the same situation! I tend to scoop him up as well but say we're giving DD a hug/kiss now so she at least hears that I recognise it's supposed to be her time!

I also have a 3yr and 1yr old and have exactly the same thing, I would even say it's not so much being clingy with me but just competing with my older daughter as if my eldest cries my youngest runs over and tries to push her away. I just try one on each knee and hug both but think it's normal as a friend with the same age gap between her two had the same thing and they grew out of it. I think we have to make the most of being in demand?!!
