Nail biting

I've got a nearly 3 year old DD who bites her nails, and I was wondering if anyone has any ideas for gently discouraging it. As a lifeling nailbiter myself I was expecting it and happy to be relaxed about it, but she has been biting down to the point where she's actually hurt her finger, so I need to try and do something. Any thoughts?

So as not to drip feed - yes, she is probably quite stressed, as we just moved country 3 months ago and she's gone from part time nursery to full time, in her second language.
