My 9, almost 10, year old son has a habit of kicking and pushing when angry. This is something which, so far, only happens in the home, either with me, his dad or his siblings.
If he gets angry about something, he may storm out of the room and goes and lies on his bed. When I enter the room to either talk to him or tell him off, he will often kick me.
Similarly, if he storms out of the room, he will often push me (or whoever he is angry with) but has also pushed his younger brother out of the way on these occasions.
He is bright, has lots of friends, is happy, doing well at school... no other issues it would appear.
How do we stop this behaviour and does anyone else experience something similar, is this "normal" ??
