This is my night so far:
1830-2000 feed
2130 feed15 min
2230 feed 15 min
2320 dummy as crying
0012 nappy change 30 min feed
0059 dummy
0105 dummy
0012 feed

Does this all sound in the realms of normal? He was feeding every 2-3 hrs at night.
He doesn't want to be in his cot, wants to sleep on me as that was what I had to do the past few nights as I have a 3yr old to take care of too. Any advice would be gratefully received he's not ill, no temp, nappies fine, had injections Mondsy and that when things changed.

different timings but the rest sounds same as me. not 4 months for another week and ma bit but I think he's hit it early. exhausting isn't it especially with older child to look after too.

My DS is now 6 months and has been sleeping through the night since 8 weeks apart from what I assume was the 4 month regression. For a few weeks he woke about every 40-60 min all night every night and needed resettling or feeding. Do you use a baby sleeping bag? We found this helped him wake less often as he wasn't kicking covers off and must have generally felt more secure and comfortable. He is back to sleeping through again now Smile

Hi, thank you both. Yes we use sleeping bags. I'm a huge fan of them.
As soon as I lay him in his cot he wakes a few minutes after. Starts crying and won't resettle unless fed. I have a dummy which we've only really used to help him settle for nap times but he spits that out as wants the 'real' thing.
I just don't know what to do for the best. I'm feeding him to settle him down but my head is telling me that will become a problem too. I bottle fed my first Son so BF is a totally new experience.
