Can a 7 year old get a teething rash?

DS is 7, has had two adult front teeth for about 1.5 years but now the teeth just next to the front teeth are coming out - one is just poking through the gum. He has very red cheeks, with tiny red spots a bit like a heat rash, except that it's not really the weather for a heat rash! Could it be teething? He has no pain and no other symptoms.

I popped in to see my mum when I was about 20, feeling rotten. Fever, flushed cheeks, loose tummy, snotty nose.

Mum took one look and diagnosed teething. Sure enough, wisdoms were coming though.

So yes, I think the symptoms can be the same at any age
