Hi this is my first post so please bare with me as it could be long.

I have 2 children a 4yo boy and a 20mo girl.

My little girl is really pushing me the last 4 weeks. She still wont talk even though she knows everything you say and her behaviour is becoming really difficult. She screams every time I move or start doing something. I'm trying to wean her off breastfeeding she thinks that If I sit down then she has to be attached to me, and when I say no or if she doesn't get her own way she lashes out hitting, kicking and screaming and its a really high pitched horrible scream that goes through me. She has also started banging her head on the floor and throwing herself off furniture when she gets upset.

I'm at a loss of what to do and its really getting to me. I ended up in tears this evening.
I'm sorry if it's all a jumble but could really do with some advise or something, anything
Thanks for reading xxx

Some of this behaviour may be down to her not being able to express herself, if, as you say, she's not really talking yet. She's probably frustrated, hence the tantrums, screaming etc.

Sorry, have to go so this is very very quick, but will try to come back.

Hi thanks for your reply I never really thought of that. She used to say mama and Dada but then she stopped. her older brother does things for her and talks for her. I encourage her constantly to try and talk but I'm always met with the same response 'bah'.

She turns 2 in may. She babbles all the time just no words. Should I book In With doctor or wait till she has her 2 year check.
