DS, 3, has stopped pooing on potty all of a sudden?

I'm so disheartened I feel like crying.

My DS turned 3 in January and a week after his birthday he started telling me he wanted to do a poo on the potty.
Everyday without fail he'd tell me and was so happy and excited about it up until last week.

Suddenly he's completely stopped telling me. He's gone back to doing it in his nappy and hiding from me.

What's happened? Why would he do this? 4 weeks he was fine, he'd get hugs and praise and treats. He was just so happy doing it. I don't know what's happened to him.

I'm at a loss and so sad. What shall I do?

Does anyone have any advice? Sad

He didn't poo all day today. I just know he's building it up and will do a big one in his nappy tomorrow.

I don't know what's wrong with him or why after 4 weeks he's gone back to square one Sad

I think that once they've got the hang of it, after a while it all becomes a bit boring Grin. I remember my dd regressing a bit, getting lazy etc. I didn't make a fuss, just went back to basics and she was fine again after a couple of days.
