i would say about 6 weeks ago at a guess. there were some teenagers on the bus. and they were shouting out. you dirting fucking peado. since then my 4 year old has not stopped saying it. she will scream and shout you dirty fucking peado. example i was just in the bath and the kids started aguing so i told her to come to me. her reply was no i wont you fucking peado. i have tried telling her its a naughty word. tried shouting at her, tried being angry and have tried ignoring. and she is still saying it. i dont know what to do :( oh and time out and taking things away stopping tv. she just does not care

I would say ignoring might be best. It might take time but she'll stop saying it eventually.

I think you need to stop making it a thing you react to in such a massive way.
She's pushing your buttons for the reaction. She's only four, she doesn't really understand.

i know but 6 weeks ish seems a very long time for her to still be saying it. anyway i will carry on ignoring. and speak to the other kids. because as soon as they shout mum shes saying peado the ignoring has been undone.

Can you say something else silly and v loudly and get everyone to laugh and she might latch onto that instead
